1. STEMCON at College of DuPage 

From soldering and robots to microorganisms and fossils, COD STEMCON lets you explore the fascinating world of STEM. Get hands on with dozens of high-quality, well-facilitated experiments and demonstrations designed to inform, entertain and spark interest in a broad range of STEM topics. This year's special guest, Kate the Chemist, will have interactive demonstration showtimes and a book signing.

2. Healthy Kids Day at B.R. Ryall YMCA

Get a sneak peek of all the exciting activities, camps, sports and high-energy adventures waiting for your family this summer. Healthy Kids Day is the Y’s national initiative to improve the health and well-being of kids and families for over 30 years. Some activities to expect: Family Zumba, Group Fitness Classes, Face Painting, Ping Pong, Games, Parisi Speed School Demos, Vendor Expo, Open Swim and more!

3. Downtown Wheaton Touch-a-Truck

Honk, Honk! Beep, Beep! Make way for trucks, construction vehicles, emergency vehicles, and more! Get up close, climb, honk, and touch these cool vehicles from right behind the wheel!

4. See a Local Musical Production

Two kid-friendly musicals are happening this weekend: Disney's The Little Mermaid at Bartlett High School and The Sound of Music at Wheaton North High School. This is a great way to introduce your kids to musicals and seeing live productions on stage in a family-friendly and low-cost way!

5. Baby Derby at Glen Ellyn Library

Off to the races! Wear your best Derby attire to celebrate the Kentucky Derby at Glen Ellyn Library with baby races, a craft, and other Derby fun. For ages 0-2 and their grown-ups, but there is a limited amount of spaces available so arrive early!
